Smart Cities

Connecting and empowering Communities

Stay connected

The way we communicate with the people around us may have shifted over time, but the reasons why we want to stay connected remain the same: social equity and the need to feel included.

Digital technology has become fundamental in how we do this. Although cities can utilise digital tools to empower communities by providing access and inclusion to all, they can also use them to become more efficient behind the scenes.

Value for everyone

Alongside providing public Wi-Fi, wayfinding touchscreens, travel updates, and a platform to share local information, Amscreen is always exploring and developing new ways to create value for cities and the people within them.

One smart ecosystem

In addition to providing our own solutions, we can collaborate with third parties, either directly or by sharing data, to connect the isolated data points and create one smart ecosystem.

Safe and Sustainable Environments

Growing pains

As cities expand and populations become denser, the pressure on councils and city leaders to combat the accompanying ‘growing pains’ rises. Making our surroundings safer, healthier and more sustainable are key examples of this.

Smarter decisions

Amscreen’s products have the ability to continuously measure the environment around them, including pollution levels, traffic levels and noise. In turn, cities can use these insights to make smarter decisions and implement the right solutions.

Safer streets

As for safer streets, we provide a platform to alert the public to critical safety announcements, as well as connect them to the emergency services if required.

We also work with several partners to integrate the latest solar panel technology, providing lighting in urban spaces as and when it’s needed.

Targeting and Inspiring Audiences

Understanding what’s needed

Although the progression of digital technology has presented us with a multitude of different platforms to reach audiences, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to cut through the noise and catch their attention.

That is why the needs of these audiences must be better understood, allowing us to target them at the right place and time with advertising content that is both relevant and engaging.

Real-time insights

Our tried-and-tested RDM® technology gives advertising clients confidence knowing that their message is always on and reaching the right audience.

End To End Service

Remote Device Management

What is Remote Device Management®?

Remote Device Management (RDM®) is our own unique software that delivers real-time performance data for every site across the entire screen network. It is the heartbeat of Amscreen and allows us to run everything remotely like clockwork.

Through a combination of over 250 sensors, automated alerts and predictive issue management, RDM® provides 24-hour insight, allowing you to feel completely confident in the delivery of consistent, high-quality out-of-home content. It can also be integrated with other inventory management systems.

Powerful Insights

The data we receive from our RDM® analytics suite lets us cut through the digital noise and catch the attention of target audiences at the right place and time.

Our modular accessories can go even further, providing information on environmental matters, which cities can then use to make smarter decisions and implement more sustainable infrastructures.

We can also collaborate with third parties, either directly or by sharing data, to utilise Internet of Things opportunities.

Distribution and Scalability

Our dedicated facilities in the north of England and the Far East allow us to provide quick and efficient production and delivery across Europe and beyond.

These production centres ensure we keep lead times to a minimum.

Training and 24/7 Support

We offer complete training for our partner installation teams as well as an ongoing line of support to assist in the smooth roll-out and maintenance of a screen network.

Our multilingual support teams are on hand 24/7 to provide guidance on everything from content delivery queries to general enquiries.

Installation and Servicing

We design screens that can be installed with minimal on-street disruption, and our efficient servicing solutions ensure maximum uptime.

Methods include reusable lifting jigs, gas strut panel hinges, and plug and play modular design for quick internal access and maintenance.

Content Delivery and Integration

Amscreen use Vodafone 4G and 5G network-based connectivity, providing nationwide content delivery.

We can integrate with existing inventory management, detailed scheduling platforms, and are able to plug in other data sources to leverage Internet of Things opportunities.
