Established in 2004, DL M&E Building Services operates as a mechanical and electrical contractor throughout the UK. We have developed a reputation within the industry for providing a reliable and professional service with quality guaranteed. As our company has evolved, we have built our management and in-house design team around our core beliefs. In 2010, DL M&E Building Services started to be recognized as a major player in the M&E Industry and the company was awarded a significant framework contract with Aldi Food stores Ltd (direct). In order to achieve this high standard of quality, we operate a series of systems described within our quality assurance manual, which are supported by a comprehensive set of operating procedures. All of which are mandatory and conform to the requirements of the nationally and internationally recognized standards of BS EN ISO 9001: 2015. DL M&E Building Services strives to ensure that quality is the responsibility of all staff throughout the organisation, that each employee is competent in their particular task and has a clear understanding of the importance of quality assurance and its relationship to the overall success of the company.

Our senior management team is fully aware of the statutory and regulatory requirements that the customer is governed by. The importance of statutory and regulatory requirements is communicated throughout the organisation, so that we achieve continual improvement ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction. An appointed Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the daily monitoring of the quality system and reports to the Managing Director, who is ultimately responsible for the success of the system’s operation. The Quality Assurance Manager has the authority and organisational scope in recognising quality problems and has the autonomy to initiate and recommend a review, or provide an alternative solution.

At DL M&E Building Services we have a fully qualified team of electricians and mechanical engineers. All our employees are registered with the CSCS industry card scheme and are Asbestos Awareness UKATA certified. We have an impeccable health & safety record and understand that safety is of paramount importance within the construction industry. We take our responsibilities in this area very seriously. Our SHE advisor has a wealth of experience and a high profile throughout the industry. He is constantly on hand to ensure we fully comply with our health and safety statutory responsibilities.

DL M&E Building Services has extensive experience of ‘roll out’ programmes, which we have undertaken for many of our clients, including numerous critical resilience sites across the UK.

The company places a strong emphasis on project programming and coordination, as it is our belief that planning is the most critical stage in construction. Our strong background relating to full project delivery, allows us to offer electrical, fire alarm, data, CCTV, security and AV installations, providing a ‘one stop shop’ and negating the need for multiple subcontractor coordination.

M&E Maintenance

Our proactive maintenance packages cover a 60-mile radius from our office and are reasonably priced. They include a full review of the property which would highlight any mechanical or electrical equipment that would require regular maintenance. This enables assets to be recorded and a PPM schedule to be created.

Our highly experienced in-house Service and Maintenance team have the ability and know-how to provide full maintenance and repairs of all your installations. After reviewing the property, they will build a tailor-made plan for you, ensuring your property is correctly maintained for the environment in which it has been installed.

We can be with you within 4 hours of your initial call, removing the stress from building maintenance and keeping your running costs down.  Should the unexpected arise, we will ensure you are back in operation as soon as possible.

M&E Design

We offer the complete mechanical & electrical building services design from inception through to installation. We ensure  full coordination will all other trades and provide detailed information for the installation team.

We provide design information to suit all procurement routes, whether this be traditional RIBA stage 4 design, or developing performance related information to meet with design and build contract requirements.
