About Si Rhodes Driver Training
Simon Rhodes and is a Grade A fully qualified driving Instructor. Si established his driving school in 2008 and have a very high success rate. Si offers training to learner clients, refresher and advanced training for full licence holders and fleet driver risk assessments for company clients.
So whether you’re a complete novice driver or just want to brush up on your existing driving skills, Lessons are more affordable than you’d think, with discounts for block booking.

Si offers quality driving lessons to all clients from beginner to refresher courses and Pass Plus, all on a one to one basis. Si operates around Westhoughton and the surrounding areas, call 07525 941784 to check availability.
For beginner Clients, Si teaches the full DVSA recommended syllabus which is the quickest way to becoming a safe and competent driver, with progress monitored constantly in the Total Drive App which will be given to you on your first lesson. You will always know what stage you are at in the learning syllabus with full feedback given and what areas we need to work on to get you driving independently in the shortest time

Full Licence Holders who may have lost some confidence after an Accident or a gap in driving, will benefit from some extra training to boost confidence or gain some Advanced Driving skills or Motorway Tuition.
Fleet Driver risk assessments are also available to reduce the risk for on the road employees, save on fuel costs and to lower insurance premiums. All Students will receive a Free online Theory Test which are monitored by Myself to ensure the subjects are fully covered using the Theory Test Pro website.
Student progress is monitored using the Total Drive App which provides a consistent record of the subjects covered, aims and objectives for future sessions so students know exactly where in the syllabus they are at all times during their lessons.

Beginner Lessons
A complete course of lessons tailored to the Students abilities following the DVSA syllabus to achieve a Test Pass and maybe then onto gaining Pass Plus or Motorway Training
Your progress will be monitored carefully throughout your lessons with full feedback given at the end of each session.
A Record Book will be given to you which you keep and bring to each lesson. In this is the full syllabus, and it will be updated every session so you will know exactly what stage you are at.

How many lessons will I need?
The most common questions I get asked by potential students are ” how much are you lessons ” and ” how many will I need ”
According to the DVSA, an average student will need 45 hours from a complete beginner to passing. As this is an average, students take longer and less. The quickest I’ve had from a complete beginner is 17 hours. This student spent a lot of time after the lessons studying online as to what was required in the next lesson. This is a fantastic achievement and is unusual. Most students take around the 40 hours mark.
This can only be achieved by proper structured learning. At all times, it is imperative that you are fully aware what stage you are at in the learning syllabus. All practical driving lessons should begin with a full recap of last session, any thoughts the student has since had about the lesson and a full agreement on what is to be achieved during the lesson. It should end with a full recap and a plan to move forward on the next lesson.
Lessons may be found cheaper elsewhere but, if you are ” just driving round ” without any proper lesson plan, it can take more lessons in the long run and therefore work out more expensive.
