Westhoughton Assist Service

Free to join.

Our aim is to support people who are struggling financially, but anyone can be a member of our community shop, as there is no criteria to join us for free.

You can buy a £5 or £10 members shop, which entitles you to the items shown below. We think this would likely cost around three times more in a supermarket.

There will also be special buys available that members can purchase separately from their members shop.

All our members have a membership card and number and can visit the community shop twice per week.

£5 Membership

5 x Yellow Items

We offer emergency food parcels for people in crisis.

About Westhoughton Assist Service

The group is open to anyone in the Westhoughton area who faces issues as part of the ongoing Corona virus pandemic or because of hardship within your domestic situation.
If you are isolated, ill, in need as a result of circumstances affecting you, please use this group to ask for help.
If you are able to offer your time and resources to help others out, please do so on the group.
We are unable to offer guarantees of help as a simple community group but we can as volunteers collectively look after each other and keep lines of communication open. Please feel free to refer anyone in need to us.
